Logitech K800 wireless illuminated keyboard sets to be your classy wireless keyboard

Share

Logitech has been rather famous for their illuminated keyboards that look classy and cool, yet being very durable. I personally love Logitech’s products, and would heavily encourage others Logitech’s products, especially their Internet Pro Black Edition whenever any friends were looking for a set of quality keyboard and mouse. Logitech today introduced the Logitech K800 wireless illuminated keyboard, which they say will change your nightlife in front of your computer.

“Illumination can be a real drain on battery life, and we wanted to make sure we provided the great experience that you’ve come to expect from Logitech. So we put a lot of effort into maximizing the energy efficiency of the keyboard and the result is the Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800.” – Guy Raeber, Logitech Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Keyboards and Desktops.

The keyboard features a microUSB port to recharge its internal batteries. The Wireless Illuminated Keyboard offers up to 10 days of battery life (depending on use and environmental conditions.) When the battery is about to run out, an indicator light comes on to alert you, and you can recharge the battery with the included micro-USB cable.

Due to obsession in energy efficiency, Logitech has also included a proximity sensor which will automatically turn on the backlight only when your hands are on the keyboard. The backlighting also automatically adjusts based on the amount of light in the room using ambient light sensors. However, Logitech has also given the user manual lighting adjustments that allow you to tailor the brightness based on your personal preference. Talk about flexibility and personalization, which I love. Of kush, since there’s manual setting, there’s also an on/off switch so you can conserve energy when you’re done typing for the day

The keyboard is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, and XP. The Logitech K800 will be released later this month for $99.99. Each purchase comes with Logitech’s famous 3-year limited warranty.
