Asus officially introduces the Eee PC 1001PQ netbook for tweens (pre-adolescents) to learn and have fun.  This tween netbook packs 1GB/2GB of RAM, 160GB/250GB hard drive and a multi-in-one card reader. The 1001PQ has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, 0.3 Megapixel webcam and support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. The design of the 1001PQ is inspired by Asus’ Seashell. It has sleek curves and lines that appeal to the young and is available in a Flame Purple or Vibrant Gold color scheme and comes with stickers to let pre-adolescents express themselves by customizing their 1001PQ.
