Toshiba CELL REGZA 55X2, 55XE2 and 46XE2 LED-backlit HDTVs are 3D Capable

Toshiba introduces the second generation CELL REGZA LED-backlit LCD HDTVs. Three models are announced, the 55-inch 55X2 with dynamic LED-backlit and the slim 55-inch 55XE2 and 46-inch 46XE2 that use Edge-LED backlight.

These CELL REGZA TVs fetures 1920x1080p Full HD resolution and includes the Cell processor for enhanced image quality. The flagship 55X2 features up to 9,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 1000cd/m2 brightness while the slimmer 55XE2 and 46XE2 has 4,000,000:1 contrast. Thanks to the CELL processor and the CELL 3D technology, these HDTVs support 2D-to-3D conversion.
Toshiba’s new CELL REGZA models have built-in digital tuner and 3TB hard drive for video recording. They offer HDMI, USB port and DLNA support and are internet-ready. All three models will be released in October.
