CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse

CM Storm, part of Cooler Master, introduces the new Inferno gaming mouse built for MMO games, like Logitech’s new G700. The new mouse is equipped with a 4000 DPI twin laser sensor, 128kb of onboard Sentinel-X memory that stores up to three custom game profiles and nine programmable keys.
 The Cooler Master’s Inferno features a lift-off distance of 2mm, 1000Hz polling, 1ms response time and a max speed of 115 inches per second. It includes the Advanced Storm MacroPro key that enables quick and easy set up to your macros, scripts and mouse actions; the Rapid Fire Tactical key that is ideal for getting out of tight corners when you need to lay down a lot of fire power quickly; and the new Storm Tactics Multiplayer key offering access to 32 extra button outputs for macros, scripts, rapid fire and other unique commands.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102YL Waterproof Full HD Camcorder

Sanyo introduces a new Xacti Dual Camera, the VPC-CA102YL waterproof Full HD camcorder for active lifestyle and for any indoor or outdoor adventure. This Xacti is basically the US version of the DMX-CA100. It comes in yellow color and is small enough to be carried in a pocket, backpack, or purse, ready to be used at any time and in any weather condition.

 The VPC-CA102YL features a 14.4 Megapixel CMOS sensor for capturing 1080p Full HD video (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format) and 14 Megapixel still images, and a 5x optical zoom lens with double-range zoom up to 12x, and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The compact waterproof camcorder has a vertical form factor and is waterproof up to 10 feet depth. It includes “Face Chaser” and “Target a Color” functions and the High-Speed Sequential Shooting mode that enables capturing up to 22 photos at 7 frames per second.
 Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102YL is compatible with SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards as well as Eye-Fi SD cards. Mini HDMI output is provided. This stylish yellow camcorder will be released on 20 August and is available for pre-order at Amazon for $349.00.

Solidmicro SD-HK800 Pico Video Projector runs WinCE 5.0

Solidmicro, a Japan company, is launching this month the SD-HK800 palm-sized pico projector. The device uses LCoS display technology and runs Windows CE 5.0 that allows it to handle media playback.


The SD-HK800 features 640×480 resolution, 30 lumens brightness, up to 200:1 contrast ratio and RGB LED backlight. The pico projector has 2GB internal memory and supports microSD up to 32GB. It supports playback of RM/RMVB, MPG, MWV, AVI, MP4, VOB video, MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC audio as well as GIF, BMP, JPG, PNG image files. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF documents can also be opened.
The Solidmicro SD-HK800 is available in black and white and the price will be about 54,800 Yen.

Dell Inspiron M101z Slim Notebook Comes to the US

Dell releases in the US market its new Inspiron M101z slim notebook, following UK launch. Powered by AMD’s Athlon II Neo single or dual core processor, Dell’s new laptop gets up to 4GB of RAM, integrated ATI graphics and up to a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive.

The M101z has a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and HDMI output. It packs 2×1.5W speakers with SRS Premium Surround Sound, 7-in-1 card reader, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, and Ethernet LAN port. This slim notebook supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and optional mobile broadband, WiMAX, GPS.

The Dell Inspiron M101z starts at $449.

Samsung PL90 Digital Camera with built-in USB Connector

Samsung announced its all-new PL90 digital camera with a built-in USB connector allowing users to connect the camera to a computer on the move without the need for additional wires or cords. The 12.2 Megapixel PL90 features a 4x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display.


Samsung PL90 featues Smart Auto mode, Objective Tracking AGF, Smart Album and the Perfect Portrait System, which includes Beauty Shot, Face Detection, Self Portrait, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, Red-eye Fix. It records 640×480 video at 30fps. Samsung will release the PL90 in September at $149.99.
